All courts in Kentucky are now complying with a new supreme court order issued on 4/1 and are no longer allowing any in-person activity in the courts this month. There are some clerks who are willing to assist researchers over the phone, via email, or via fax, and where our local partners are able to get assistance we will continue to process requests. However, it should be noted that this assistance is not required of the clerks at this time, and we do expect significant delays throughout the state. We and our local partners are in contact with court leadership regarding these closings, and we will continue to provide updates as things develop.
