Effective March 17, 2003, the State of Colorado's Judicial Department has notified BIS of a mandatory surcharge that will be billed for each name search conducted through the Colorado online database.  The surcharge will affect any vendor that sells court record information from the State Judicial's online court system. 

In response to the surcharge, BIS will be forced to increase pricing per name by $1.00.  The price increase represents a $.75 surcharge and a $.25 administrative processing fee.  This fee will be in addition to your current base price.  The new surcharge will apply to our online database clients, as well as clients who fax in or place orders online for our office to process internally.
